Catherine Keller, Director
Catherine Keller midwifes a theology with a complicated lineage and an open future. At once constructive and deconstructive in approach, her work engages questions of ecological and social embodiment amidst an irreducible spiritual indeterminacy. It interweaves a postmodern biblical hermeneutic with process cosmology, poststructuralist philosophy and an evolving feminist sensibility.
Virginia Burrus's teaching and research interests in the field of ancient Christianity include: gender, sexuality, and the body; martyrdom and asceticism; ancient novels and hagiography; constructions of orthodoxy and heresy; histories of theology and historical theologies.
Stephen Moore's research centers on the interface of biblical studies and other contiguous fields, especially literary studies, cultural studies, gender studies, and postcolonial studies. Currently he is Chair of Drew's Graduate Division of Religion.
