Using the Writing Center's Resources


What can the Writing Center do for you?

The writing center is just that: the “center” for writing at Drew University.
That means that writers of all levels, from first semester students to Graduate students working on dissertations, can work with one of our writing consultants to improve their work.

The Writing Center provides a variety of consultants who are available to the Drew community for one-on-one appointments to offer help at all stages in the writing process.

The Writing Center can help you with:

  • Exploring topics and assignments
  • Organizing Papers
  • Offering guidelines for effective communication
  • Offering guidelines for various writing strategies
  • Revision
  • Creative Writing
  • Techniques of grammar
  • Help for ESL students

What do I have to do to make use of the Writing Center?

It's simple. You can schedule online at www.therichco.com/wconline/drew, call the Writing Center at x3617 for an appointment, or stop by Mon-Thurs between 10 am and 5:00pm and 6:00pm and 8:00pm, Friday between 10:00am and 2:00pm. The Writing Center is located in the Brothers College Chapel room.
