About the Club

The Women’s Concerns Club is a student organization, which exists to promote feminism on the Drew University campus and raise awareness on specific social, political, environmental, and international issues that affect women and men throughout the United States and the world. We wish to provide a safe and tolerant environment to explore the intersections of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, and global systems of interrelation and domination. We seek to provide a forum in which the personal experience, social activism, and a diverse body of theory can come together to form a dynamic organization that responds to the needs and interests of its members and the Drew University community. Students of all sexes and genders are welcome and encouraged to join the club.
