Feminist Majority Foundation
Full-time internships, which run for a minimum of two months, are available year-round. We prefer that interns work 35-40 hours/week. We offer full-time internships during summer and full or part-time internships during spring and fall. Feminist Majority and Feminist Majority Foundation internships provide students with a behind-the-scenes look at the women's movement. Each intern is given a wide variety of responsibilities, such as monitoring press conferences and public hearings, researching, writing, policy analysis, and organizing events and demonstrations.

Jersey Battered Women's Service, Morris County

Interns serve on the Board of Directors, talk to callers on the crisis hotline, help with the children in shelter, accompany victims to court, provide transportation, do clerical work, write for the newsletter, speak to groups on domestic violence, and much more.

National Organization for Women (NOW), New York City
NOW-NYC works to win equality and justice for women and promote social change through action in several key areas, including reproductive rights, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered women's rights, the rights of older and young women and girls, eliminating violence against women and racism, colorism, and ethnicism.
Interns have the opportunity to research and design fact sheets on a topic, write articles for our quarterly newsletter, draft letters to governmental officials, and take on projects of vital importance to NOW-NYC's activism and infrastructure. Interns work with one of our issue-action committees and one of our chapter development taskforces. Interns also provide referral resource information to women in need who call the NOW-NYC Service Fund Helpline.
