Semester in New York City

The Semester on the United Nations is also run by the Political Science department and involves two days per week on-site study in New York at Drew's facilities across the street from U.N. Headquarters. Once you are there, members of the U.N. Secretariat, the delegations, the special agencies, or nongovernmental organizations represented at the United Nations make one or two presentations. Group discussion typically follows. The balance of the day is devoted to other projects such as attending various meetings, conducting interviews and gathering data for your research project.
The Semester on the United Nations is an eight-credit program in which you enroll in two required courses. To complete a full, sixteen-credit semester, you may enroll in courses normally offered on campus. A four-credit internship is available.
