About the SEARCH

A Presidential Search Committee has been formed by the University's Board of  Trustees and charged with the responsibility of finding a new president to lead Drew in the years ahead.  Drew's current president, Thomas H. Kean, announced in August that this year –his 15th-- would be his last as president.  Kean is Drew's 10th president.

The Presidential Search Committee is made up of 14 members which include trustees, faculty, staff, and a student representative from the College of Liberal Arts.  The composition of the committee is similar to the search committee formed in 1988 when Kean was selected.  Trustee John Crawford, T'65, will chair the committee.

The Committee expects to begin its search by mid-November and will use an outside firm to assist in its effort.  In the meantime, anyone wishing to submit the name of a candidate to the Search Committee can send it via email to Trustee Coordinator Pat Schwartz at pschwart@drew.edu
