for the All-State Senior & Junior Regional Competition

Group master class format puts everyone up front performing the All-State/Regional Solo together. The instructor will make performance suggestions for everyone to try and from time to time will ask individuals to play a short passage. Group format gives equal opportunity for each student to perform and experience new ideas first hand.

Senior Flute Master Class

• With Bart Feller
• Featuring the All-State Required Piece
• Fantasy, G. Fauré
• Bart Feller is the principal flutist with the New Jersey Symphony and the NY City Opera, and Professor of Flute at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.

Junior Flute Master Class

• With Marie Kenote
• Featuring the Junior Regional Required Pieces
• Juniors, you will need to ask your band director for the Title, Composer, and Publication of your solo.
• Dr. Marie Kenote is an assistant professor at Nyack College, performs frequently with the New York Philharmonic, and is on the faculty for Drew Summer Music.
