MENTOR PROFILES

Perzavia Praylow has been meeting with her mentee Shaday Green since
November 1998. So far their relationship is off to a great start. Perzavia enjoys
spending time with Shaday and already feels that she has learned to relate with
children better through this experience.

The first time they met Perzavia took Shaday on a tour of the University. This
dynamic duo has spent time on campus writing letters to children in Honduras,
playing games in the University Center, attending the Drew Christmas Tree
Lighting Celebration, and visitin  g some of Perzavia's professors. Over Winter
break they attended the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Second Annual
Kwanzaa Festival, visited the Liberty Science Center, went to a movie together,
and started a journal of their experiences. Each time they get together, they
record what they did and what they enjoyed most about it in their journal.
