George Harold Jennings, Professor of Psychology; and Otto Maduro, Professor of World Christianity, were selected by the Council of Elders of the Generation Center in Cherry Hill, NJ, directed by Dr. Melinda Contreras-Byrd. The project was co-sponsored by the Princeton Theological Seminary Association of Black Seminarians and the Association of Latino/Hispanic American Seminarians, and other groups.

The list includes scholars, social scientists, farm workers, clergy, politicians, artists, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and family men. Included along with Jennings and Maduro were Cornel West, Maulana Karenga, Cleophus Larue, Edwin Cortes, and Miguel Rivera.

Jennings and Maduro were honored during an awards ceremony at Princeton on Feb. 9.
