Drew University broke ground for its new arts center on April 5, 2001. The 57,000 square foot arts building will be named for benefactor Dorothy Young, who has given the University the largest single gift in its history to help finance the new structure. Dorothy Young and Drew's president Thomas H. Kean put the first shovel in the ground for the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts.	University Trustee, Nancy Priest C'83, joins the festivities with the help of Drew's Chairman of the Board Chip Andrews C'68.	Students Andrea Cibelli C'01 and Alex D'Amico C'01 break ground with the help of Gateways to the Future Campaign Chair Tom Sayles.
