Understanding the Slide Layout
| A slide layout is a collection of one or more placeholders, which allow for information to be stored in certain areas. Depending on the layout you choose for a slide, the place holders can hold text, graphics, charts or various other types of data. |
|
You can select slides that have titles with bulleted text, charts graphics or various other content. Each slide may be different based on the information that you wish to convey. In addition, you can apply a slide layout to a new slide as well as with an existing slide. |

| When you select a placeholder, an outline box appears around it. If you look closely, the outline box has handles around it. These handles allow you to resize the placeholders on your slide. The handles at the corners allow you to change both the height and width of the object. The handles on the top and bottom edges allow you to change just the height while the handles on the right and left allow you to change just the width. | |
