Slide Animations

Animations are a good way to add emphasis and interest to a flat presentation.

Animation Schemes

Animation Schemes allow you to apply a series of animations all at once to a slide.
1. Click Slide show> Animation Schemes
2. Select either Subtle, Moderate, Exciting options.
3. Select a specific Animation Scheme to apply to the whole slide.

Custom Animations

There are times that you want to animate only one object on the screen without applying an entire scheme to the whole slide. Customer animations affect specific items on the page separately from each other. For example, you could animate the bulleted list, but not the title of a slide.

Click Slide Show>Custom Animations.
Select the object that you want to animate.
Click on the Add Effect button and then select a type of animation group from Entrance Emphasis Exit. Motion Path
Within that group will be specific animations you can apply. Select the animation you want to apply to the object.
You can apply multiple animations to one object. Example you could have the text fly in, and then change font after it arrived.
