Italian Summer Program in Venice

The school Istituto Venezia (hosted in an historic building with a wide
terrace on the “campo”) is located in the center of Venice,
in Campo Santa Margherita, a meeting place for students and residents
with beautiful shops and open air cafès. Istituto Venezia is officially
recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, and it is a member of
Asils (Association of Schools for Italian as Second Language) and Tandem
International, International Network of Quality Language Institutes.
The school also

coordinates and teaches the Venice International University's courses
of "Italian for Foreigners" (V.I.U. is Università Ca'
Foscari, Istituto Universitario di Architettura, Ludwig-Maximilians Universität-Munich,
Tel Aviv University, Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Waseda University
Tokyo and Duke University Durham);
•
runs internships and stages for the Postgraduate program "Teaching
Italian to Foreigners" of Ca' Foscari University (Laboratorio Itals);
•
selects the I.U.A.V. students who will be part of the Socrates/Erasmus
study abroad program;
•
hosts "Intercultura" international association's Italian classes,
and
•
organizes and teaches several American universities study abroad programs.
