Teaching awards and honors: Caspersen School of Graduate Studies Will Herberg Distinguished Professor Award, 1992. Scholar-Teacher of the Year Award, 2000: NEH Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Humanities, 1996-2000.

Recent Publications:  have appeared in Princeton Arts Review, Mondo James Dean, and Neologisms; co-author of "Byron, Shelley, and Keats" chapter in the Columbia History of British Poetry
