Knowledge is often merely the absorption of perceived facts. Relevance puts use to knowledge through the understanding of the relationship between the perceiver and the perceived. Application is the demonstration of relevance. The continuing combination of knowledge, relevance, and application leads to wisdom. “To teach” is to point out the signposts along this path.
