- Meeting time: MWF from 11 to 12.05 in BC 216.
- Textbook: Latin for Reading, same as Latin 1 (available through the University bookstore)
- Grading: Grades will be based on performance on exams, quizzes, homework, as well as attendance and participation.
- 60% Exams (3, with corrections, & the final)
- You must pass the final in order to pass the class.
- 20% Quizzes (usually announced)
- No make-up quizzes will be given
- The lowest quiz grade will be dropped
- 10% Homework
- 10% Participation

- Attendance
- 1 unexcused absence allowed, subsequent absences cost 1/4 grade each. This penalty will be subtracted from the final grade calculated on the basis of the other criteria just listed. For example, if you are absent without an excuse three times, the first time is free but the next two add up to 1/2 grade, so the maximum grade you could obtain would be an A-. If you were absent five times, it would be a B+. And so on.
