The Promise of Nes Ammim: A New Christian Outlook

Nes Ammim (Hebrew for "A sign for the Nations") is an ecumenical Christian Village in Israel founded as a response to the Holocaust and the subsequent establishment of the State of Israel. Remembering the past, the Christian founders of Nes Ammim view the settlement as a sign of their solidarity with the Jewish People and with Israel. At present it serves as an inspiring place of cross-cultural living and learning.

Guest Speaker The Reverend Kathleen Rusnak, Chaplain, Valley Hospice, Ridgewood, NJ; Adjunct Lecturer, St. Peter's College, Jersey City; Ph.D. candidate in religion and Society, Drew University. Dissertation Topic: "Post-Holocaust Theology on a Christian Settlement in Israel: The Promise of Nes Ammim."
