The Drew Biology Minor

 
The biology minor consists of a combination of required and elective courses.
   
 

 
Requirements for the Minor
 
Required Courses:
BIOL 7/Ecology and Evolution (4 credits)
BIOL 9/Diversity of Life (4 credits)
BIOL 22/Cellular and Molecular Biology (4 credits)
CHEM 6/ or  CHEM 6A/   Principles of Chemistry I (4 credits)
CHEM 7/  Principles of Chemistry II (4 credits)
 

Elective Course Requirements

To meet the requirements for a Biology minor, a student must take eight additional credits in intermediate (2-digit) and upper-level (3 digit) biology courses, including at least one laboratory course.

Note: the laboratory course requirement for the minor cannot be met by independent research, although biology minors are welcome to participate in research projects if they wish.
