	Drew offers a biology major that combines a broad introductory and intermediate base with upper level flexibility.

	The core of the biology major is a three-semester introductory sequence of courses that covers the major themes in biology. Majors also take chemistry for two years, as required by medical and graduate schools.

	Drew also offers a biology minor.

	Students interested in biochemistry may choose the interdisciplinary biochemistry major or the biochemistry minor described in the biochemistry program listings. A cross-disciplinary major in neuroscience is available, as is a minor in environmental studies.
