Lisandra Estevez, Adjunct Professor

Lisandra Estevez specializes in Spanish and Latin American art (1492 to the present), as well as the History of the Print. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Rutgers University, where she is currently writing her doctoral dissertation entitled “The Image of the Painter in the Age of Calderón de la Barca (1600-1681).” She has taught upper-level courses and seminars at Rutgers and the Pratt Institute on European and Latin American Baroque art and architecture, and a survey of the Art of Colonial Latin America here at Drew. She recently presented her research on Spanish seventeenth-century signatures at the Annual Conference of the College Art Association in New York (February 2007).
