ARTHST 106/Early 20th-Century Art (4)

Painting and sculpture in the first half of the 20th century. An exploration of revolutionary styles, the artistic intentions behind them, and the artistic concern with subjectivity, primitivism, irony, and the unconscious. One credit for additional museum study is available through ARTHST 142. Offered spring semester in odd-numbered years.
